General Contractor in Paducah, KY — A Builder's Skill, An Operator's Discipline
Most contractors are hard to reach, hard to read, and hard to hold accountable. MCM was built to be the opposite — open books, direct access to Ryan, and a defined process that protects your investment from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

More Than Construction Services
Homeowners and developers throughout Paducah choose Ryan for a leader who brings structure, clarity, and integrity to every project.
Builder + Business Operator
Ryan understands both the job site and the balance sheet. His combination of hands-on construction knowledge and executive-level operational experience ensures every project is well-built, well-managed, and financially disciplined.
Preconstruction Investment
Before you sign a construction contract, Ryan builds you a real budget — not a ballpark estimate. Full line-by-line pricing from actual subcontractor quotes. If you move forward with MCM, the preconstruction fee is credited toward your contract.
Single Point of Contact
Ryan leads all subcontractor coordination on your project. You have one number to call, one person who knows every detail. Issues that come up get routed to you directly — not filtered through layers of staff — so decisions get made quickly and with full context.
Complete Project Visibility
Every client gets a free project portal — log in any time and see exactly where your money has gone, what's scheduled next, and every document in one place. Message Ryan directly. Everything is documented in writing so there is a clear record of what was agreed and when.
Workmanship Warranty Included
Every project MCM completes includes a workmanship warranty, the terms of which are defined in your construction contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials and systems are passed through to you at closeout.
Proven Track Record
25+ custom homes personally managed in Paducah and Western Kentucky. Every project involves direct involvement at every phase — from preconstruction planning through final walkthrough. Not delegated. Not supervised from a distance.
Every Project Guided by a Clear Standard
Since 2021, Ryan has managed the construction of more than 25 custom homes in Paducah and surrounding communities. Every project involves unknowns — site conditions, material lead times, weather, permit timelines — and the job is to plan carefully, communicate honestly, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Detailed preconstruction planning
- Transparent, line-item budgeting
- Structured subcontractor coordination and oversight
- Clear communication with homeowners and developers
- Commitment to quality and accountability
- Project portal: log in any time to see your schedule, budget, invoices, and every document in one place
- Workmanship warranty per your construction contract
Contracting, Refined.
At Morreau Construction, refinement is not a slogan — it is the operating standard. Every aspect of the client experience is designed to surface issues early, keep communication clear, and give you the information you need to make good decisions throughout the build.
Refined Communication
Regular written updates throughout the project. When something changes — schedule, cost, or scope — you hear it from Ryan directly, not after the fact. One number, one person.
Refined Planning
Real budgets built from actual subcontractor quotes before you commit to anything. Selections calendars at kickoff so you have advance notice of when decisions are due — and time to make them thoughtfully.
Refined Execution
Quality materials, skilled trades, and direct supervision. Ryan is on-site regularly and coordinates all subcontractors personally. When field conditions don't match the drawings — and they sometimes don't — he works through it with you directly.
Refined Client Experience
Every client gets a free project portal — log in any time and see exactly where your money has gone, what's scheduled next, and every document in one place. No waiting on a weekly update call to know where things stand.
Refined Accountability
Workmanship warranty terms are defined in your construction contract. The management fee is fixed at contract signing. It does not increase if material costs rise from the contract date, if an estimate came in short, or if you choose higher-end finishes within a contracted allowance. Scope additions — work added beyond the original contract — do carry a management fee, documented in a written change order before work proceeds.
What We Hold Ourselves To
These aren't marketing badges. They represent verified training, federal safety standards, and EPA-recognized programs we hold ourselves to — because your home deserves a builder who is accountable to more than just a handshake.
OSHA-30 Construction Safety
The 30-Hour Construction Safety & Health certification is the highest field-level safety credential issued by the U.S. Department of Labor. It requires demonstrated competency in hazard recognition, fall protection, electrical safety, and site management — not just a one-day course.
What this means for you: Your job site is managed by someone who has been formally trained to identify and eliminate hazards — not just someone who has been building long enough to get lucky. Fewer incidents means fewer delays, fewer insurance complications, and a safer environment for every trade on your project.
Issued to C. Ryan Morreau · U.S. Department of Labor · Verification available on request.
EPA Partnerships — Active
ENERGY STAR Partner
Morreau Construction is proud to offer homes that have earned the EPA's ENERGY STAR®. Our ENERGY STAR certified homes are designed from the ground up to be energy efficient — exceeding minimum energy code requirements by at least 10 percent, and independently verified to meet the EPA's rigorous requirements for insulation, windows, air sealing, and HVAC systems.
What this means for you: By choosing ENERGY STAR, you're making a sound investment for the future while enjoying the peace of mind that comes from living in a better-built, more comfortable, and energy-efficient home. Lower monthly utility bills, more consistent room temperatures, and a home that holds its value at resale — because buyers know what the label means.

Indoor airPLUS Gold
Indoor airPLUS is an EPA program that builds on ENERGY STAR with additional requirements for moisture control, filtration, radon mitigation, and low-emission materials — addressing the pollutants that accumulate inside a tightly built home.
What this means for you: The air inside a new home can be more polluted than outdoor air if the build doesn't address it. Indoor airPLUS Gold means your home is built with better filtration, controlled ventilation, and materials selected to minimize off-gassing — a real difference for families with allergies, asthma, or young children.
Morreau Construction — Verified EPA Partner
WaterSense Partner
Morreau Construction is an EPA WaterSense Partner. WaterSense is a voluntary EPA partnership program that helps Americans use water more efficiently. WaterSense labeled products and homes are independently certified to use at least 20% less water than standard — without sacrificing performance.
What this means for you: WaterSense fixtures reduce your monthly water bill without the performance compromises that gave "water-saving" a bad reputation. Showers, faucets, and toilets that meet the standard perform well and last — and in a new build, specifying them from the start costs nothing extra compared to retrofitting later.
★★★★★
“We cannot say enough good things about Ryan. Since we lived out of town during our home build, having someone we could completely trust through the entire process was extremely important. Ryan treated our project as if it were his very own home, managing every detail with care, professionalism, and true ownership.”
Ready to Work With a Builder Who's Accountable?
MCM is intentionally selective about the projects we take on — Ryan's model requires direct personal involvement at every phase, and that standard doesn't scale by adding staff. If you're planning a custom home, remodel, or development project in Western Kentucky, the first step is a direct conversation — no sales pitch, no commitment required. Not ready to call?
